A family story
Flexform’s story began in 1959 in Brianza, in a small artisan workshop in the area between Milan, Como and Lecco that would one day become Italy’s most important furniture-making district.
A district, not an address
Flexform has just one production site, in Meda, in the heart of the Brianza furniture district. Here, design and manufacturing exist side by side, from the first sketches to the finished product. The company was founded and grew within this manufacturing community and continues to draw on its skills, relationships and wealth of production expertise. Today, the area is home to more furniture companies than any other province in Italy.
Understated elegance
Fashion belongs to time. It distinguishes itself by making its mark, interpreting the spirit of a particular era. Its nature is to change, to reinvent itself, before inevitably moving on. Taste follows a different logic.
Longevity is the cardinal form of sustainability
Long before any certification or standard comes a fundamental choice: to design furniture made to last. For Flexform, this is the first and most tangible expression of sustainability. A long-lasting product has an extended life cycle, reducing the need for replacement and limiting the impact associated with producing something new.

With a forceful synergistic relationship between design and production, Flexform has a long history of fertile interaction with more than one generation of great designers. Since the 1960s, the company has worked with outstanding talents.
One showroom, many doors to the world
The Meda showroom is where the world of Flexform takes shape in space and time. Designed in 1959, it remains an expression of the enduring relationship between the company, design and the territory from which it grew.
