Sanlorenzo, SD112
Spatial continuity and openness to the outdoors define the project by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors.
Measuring approximately 34 meters overall, the SD112 is part of Sanlorenzo’s Semi-Displacement range, which offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic long-range cruising yachts. Distinguished by elegant lines, balanced volumes and generous living spaces arranged across three decks, the yacht was designed to combine comfort, cruising range and architectural quality.
Presented in 2016, the SD112 also represents a significant milestone from a design standpoint, marking the beginning of the collaboration between Sanlorenzo and Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors.
The project is focused on spaces in which proportions, materials, light and visual continuity play a defining role, creating a refined, natural onboard living experience. One of its most innovative aspects is the layout of the main deck, conceived as a continuous environment in which the aft cockpit, saloon, dining area and owner’s suite flow one into the next without rigid divisions. This spatial continuity is emphasized by vast glazed surfaces that draw natural light into the interiors and establish an ongoing dialogue between indoors and out, allowing the seascape to become an integral part of life on board.
Carlotta folding chairs and footstools, along with Oliver side tables, were selected to furnish the indoor and outdoor spaces on the main deck as well as the cabins.
